1980s Hirohata Merc T-Shirt, Size Medium, Jack Walker's 1951 Mercury
1980s Hirohata Merc T-Shirt, Size Medium, Jack Walker's 1951 Mercury
Description - Soft and thin single stitch tee from the 80s with a cool classic car
Here's some info I found about this car: 1951 Mercury owned and restyled by Jack Walker of Belton, Missouri. Jack's Mercury was built as a clone of the Barris Kustoms restyled Hirohata Merc. As the original Hirohata Merc was thought to be lost forever, Jack decided to build his own version of the historic custom. The build was started in 1983, and completed two years later in 1985. Once completed, it made it's debut at the Leadsled Spectacular in Springfield, Ohio in 1985. Jack's clone turned out to be almost identical to the original Hirohata Merc. The only apparent differences are the lack of the Von Dutch pinstriping on the dash and the bumper guards.
