Description - Burgundy satin athletic shorts with yellow stripes on the sides that I believe are from the 50s but they could be a little bit older or newer. I don't think they are any newer than 1962 though. I'm not sure what sport these were used for but I'm thinking maybe basketball, boxing, or wrestling. They have an elastic waist with an attached belt in the front that has a metal buckle. There are pads on both hips. These pads could be cut out without ruining the shorts if you do not want them.

Condition - I don't see any holes or stains. There is a 3 written on the inside of the waistband in blue ink but this will not show while worn. The pads look a little bit dingy but I did launder these.
