Description - Red zip up jacket from the 50s or 60s with black rib knit bands on the cuffs and hem. It has a large patch sewn on the back that has a pirate and says Buccaneer Band Disque Jr. High. This was a school formerly located in Gadsden, AL from the 1940s-1980s. It is fully lined with a sherpa type fabric in the bodice and a thinner fabric in the sleeves. It has a conmar zipper.
Details
Brand - Tailored by Gibson, The Gibson Co.
Content - I think the outer fabric is nylon. It feels like a windbreaker but because of the lining it's a thicker jacket.
Size - Labeled Size 16 which I'm assuming is a youth size XL. I think this could fit an XS/S adult as well though. Please check all measurements to ensure fit
Shoulders - 16.5" across
Chest - 19.5" pit to pit
Sleeves - 22" from shoulder seam
Length - 19.75"
Condition - There are a number of flaws as pictured but it's a super cool jacket that still has a lot of life left in it. Please view all photos.
